About Us

As a child, I fondly remember the joyful moments spent with my dad at the food trucks, where he would be busy at the grill, engaging in lively conversations and laughter with customers. During quieter times, he would prepare food and plan upcoming events, showcasing his passion for this work. Unbeknownst to me, his journey began in the late 80s while working for Spence Food Mobile INC here in Tucson, AZ, under the mentorship of his Favorite Boss man, Tom Spence. After honing his culinary skills in Las Vegas, he returned to New Mexico in the fall of 2003 to pursue his dream. Initially selling traditional New Mexican tamales from his vehicle. Just three months later, he acquired his first food truck, Tamales Mister?, and over the next decade, he expanded into a full-service concession business, food trucks, ice cream trucks and daily food concessions with the Dept of Defense and USAF. Now that I am older and my dad has retired, he continued to homeschool us after the pandemic, imparting lessons in business economics. My brothers and I have developed a desire to start our own business. Although we lacked the funds for the apartment complex we envisioned, my dad assured us he had a plan and the perfect name.
